- Blanche Nevin was the fourth child of Martha Jenkins Nevin and theologian John W. Nevin. She was born in 1841 and died in 1925.
- She was a sculptress, a writer, and a painter.
- Co-founder, along with her sister Alice Nevin of the Iris Club.
- Reservoir Park in Lancaster, PA is home to her statue of a bronze lion. This sculpture was in memory of her father.
- She purchased Windsor Forge Mansion, in Lancaster County fromĀ a family member. Three of her sculptures (two lions and a Buddha) can be found there.
- She is the author of One Usual Day.
